Lookup a non zero raw and not match to another coloumn

    Hi friends,

I hope someone can solve my problem given below with some macro.
I have two columns 1)Ref number, 2)Amount in sheet1 and one more column in sheet2 that is the same Ref number of column 1 but it is only taken for the non zero amounts. now i want to know the the ref numbers with amount of sheet1 which are not updated or missed to the sheet2. Yasar,
This is my understanding of your request. You want to compare the ref no columns of both sheets. If ref no in sheet1, but in sheet 2, how do you want to show it? Is it colour, or word which say "No match" in one of the columns?

I just want a list of ref nos from sheet1 which are not matched with sheet2 and the respective balance amount of sheet1 is not equel to zero. Here in the example it is only ref # 36380 that can easily find out but on my worksheet its a big list. thus i wish to have a macro to get a list of the ref nos as above. by yasar

I am struggling to understand your request. You can not get ref no from sheet 2 to sheet1 as they do not exist in sheet2, but if we want to see which row is missing from sheet2 where the balance is not zero, try this code

Thank you for your code. this is exactly i want to know the missed ref no in sheet 1 without balance amount. but if possible to get a list of missed ref nos on down part of the Total that will be more convenient.

    Yasar,
If a ref no is missing from sheet2, how can you get that ref in to sheet1?It does not exist in sheet2, so I can not copy it to sheet1.

i am thinking to compare the ref nos in both sheets and find out from sheet1 which are missed in sheet2 and the offset balance amount is non zero. then those can copy from sheet1 and past somewhere. please correct me if i am wrong.
