    Protect sheet but allow trace precedents / trace dependents?

    I'd like to protect a worksheet but allow the users to use the Trace Precedents / Trace Dependents tools to illustrate how the calculation works. Is this possible, using either the checkbox options that appear when you click Review > Protect Sheet, or using macros with additional arguments to ActiveSheet.Protect ? Or some other way

    You have to unprotect the sheet to access Trace Dependents/Precedents. No other go...
