Re: Help in selecting variable range while creating macro

    Hello Nayaz79,

    Welcome to the Forum!

While recorded macros are easy to create, they are not flexible, fast, or easily modified. It appears that you are adding conditional formatting to range of cells based on the ActiveCell.

The big problem with using End(xlDown) method is when the cell is blank and there are no other cells with data below it. The range will extend the full length of the column.

Another problem is if the cell is in column "A", the macro will throw an error. This macro would benefit from being rewritten.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
