    VBA code to open mutliple workbooks and protect all data

    Morning,

    I'm wanting to create a macro to open a number of seperate workbooks and apply protection to the data in the workbooks.

    The sequence would follow;

    Open workbook
    Add a new tab and detail time, date & user who ran the macro
    Protect all tabs of data within workbook with password
    Re-save the file in the filepath the workbook was opened.

    Is the best way to use an array? What if the number of workbooks changes each day?

    Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include BEFORE/AFTER sheets if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Remember to desensitize the data.

    Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
