how do I copy Data from one Excel File to another Excel File?

    Greetings Dear Excel Forum users

I have hoping that i could use a Macro for the job, but I can't seem to find any solution to my problem.

    My problem is this.

I have a Test excel document "(GFI Test Document.xlsm) that is going to be printet out to the custormers". where i'll be putting in some test results data, some of the data in this document has to be exportet to another Excel document "(Serialnr.xls) that holds the companys serial/custormers log" and depending on what my pulldown menu (in the GFI Test Document) is set to, the data has to be exported to a deferent Fan in the (Serialnr.xls) document.

I have six points in my Pulldown menu (GFI-3K, GFI-5K, GFI-6K, GFI-10K, GFI-15K, 10kW OEM) refering to each Fan in the (Serialnr.xls).

Do any of you wise people out there know how to solve my ''little'' problem? (Working in Excel 2007 and 2010)

    Best Regards

Do you have sample files which you can upload?

    To Attach a File:

    1. Click on Go Advanced
    2. In the frame Attach Files you will see the button Manage Attachments
    3. Click the button.
    4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
    5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
    6. This will open a new window File Upload.
    7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
    8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
    9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
    10. Close the window and then click Submit.

    Dear Arlu1201

I have attached the 2 files regarding my request. I am not able to give you the original Excel file with the Serialnr's but i guess i'll be able to edit the macro to fit the original file. i have marked the Cell's that need to be exported with deferent collors, and the excel document (Serialnr) has the same collors where they should be exported to.

I forgot one "little" detaile for each (export in the GFI Test document) it has to ad a new line in the Serialnr document not just overwrite the old line

    Regards

I am not seeing any colors in the GFI doc as well as any dropdown.

Will the dropdown be in F4?

    Dear arlu1201

it seems like I can't upload the file again with the right correction in so i'll try to describe it to you

GFI test document, color, SerialNr document

F4 = Pulldown: has no color, but should deside what fan the data is put in "in the SerialNr document"
C2 = Ordre Nr: Dark blue = Collum C "in the SerialNr document"
F32 = GFI Modul: Dark Red = Collum A "in the SerialNr document"
F33 = AF Modul: Red = Collum D "in the SerialNr document"
F34 = Grid Modul 1: orange = Collum AB "in the SerialNr document"
F35 = Grid Modul 2: yellow = Collum AC "in the SerialNr document"
F36 = Grid Modul 3: green = Collum AD "in the SerialNr document"
