    Disabling Macros

    Hi

I inherited an excel workbook that had a macro in it (that I was unaware of), as I was rebuilding and ammending the document, I deleted a worksheet with a macro in it. Now I have gone several versions later and when I refresh the data an error message pops up telling me that the workbook is searching for the macro in v13 (I am working on v28 now).

Is there anyway to disable all macros in the workbook? or fix this error message?

Because the current v28 doesnt need the macro in order to work, it doesnt actually affect the running of the document, but it is annoying having the error message appear everytime I refresh the data.

    Thanks

    Steve

It still gives off the error message. The error message never pops up on my laptop because I have the previous version (13) saved, but when I email the latest version (28) it displays it on other peoples laptops. The error message says that it cannot locate the specific sheet in version 13 on their drive.

Maybe you can ask your friend's laptop do the same things.

Or you press ALT+F8, you will see all the marco listed, manual delete it.

When I press ALT+F8 that specific macro does not appear. And if I do it on my friends laptop the problem persists.
