    Macros & Dropbox

    I am using excel 2010.

I have created a spreadsheet which 2 people will need to be able to update so I was going to store it in a dropbox account which they can both access from their computers. They are in remote locations and so networking is not a pheasible option.

All works fine except when trying to run the macro's. An error message pops up saying can't contact the server.

Any ideas why and how I fix this?

    Thanks
    Luke

    Re: Macros & Dropbox

    Hi Luke,
My guess would be that as you created the WB on your PC the macros are pointing to the drive letters as they appear on your PC. Your users will most likely have different drive letters and therefore may have different paths to the information.
As to how this could be fixed I'll leave that to the experts. Hope you get a solution soon.

    Regards
    Kingali
