    thank you,

it will show you folder / file / size, and hyperlinks to each file. how to modify it from time to time like option to enable sub directory, full path, file name only.

Since you had already provided a code, i thought you would be comfortable in amending the code i provided. Were you not able to edit it to match your file and requirements? Were you getting any error?

Re: Macro to get list of all files in directory

    dear

you gave me something else other than what i asked for, and i think it is not bad thing if i copy the the code or some of the code and paste it here, that doesn't mean that i am genius or Bill Gates, at least i didn't say that i am the creator of that code.

i asked just to edit the code which i provided to enable the option sub directory, full path, file name only. or to give me a code will do what i want

and the second macro will list the files then what ever i change the file names in the cell's sheet will run a macro and change the file name itself in the folder.

    thanks a lot

    Hi boss1982

This Code modifies your Code to do this
list all files in specific directory with option to enable sub directory, full path, file name only

As to the second part of your needs, you'll need to explain them a bit further...I don't understand what you're looking for.
