Delete values in a Combobox (Form Control)

    Hi,

I have a button (Add a Project), a combo box will appear with types of project (like basic, global, analysis etc., ) in it once I clicked that button. There are around 10 project types in that combo box list. The combo box values are retrieve from another sheet (Sheet10, A1 to A10). I want to remove 3 project types from that list. If I directly delete from sheet10 (e.g. A8, A9, A10), these values are appearing as blank in combo box instead of showing only 7 project types.

Is there any way to delete these values without showing as blanks in combo box?

Couldn't do right click on the combo box to check with 'Format Control' as it appears if I click 'Add a project' button.

    Please help...

    Thanks
    Abdul

Re: Delete values in a Combobox (Form Control)

    Hi,

maybe the ComboBox is hidden, and clicking the button un-hides it? What does the code say when the button is clicked?
Go to the developer tab (if not enabled yet: File -> Options -> Customize Ribbon -> Check the box on the right) and click the "Design Mode" toggle button in the "Controls" section, now you should see all hidden controls and edit them. Is this is not solving the problem please provide the code of the button..

    Thanks for your reply...
I am not getting anything if I click "Design Mode" in developer tab...
Also this is a huge project done by another vendor and contains confidential data. Now I am taking care of it and it is not being an easy for me to understand the logic they have used...No macro assigned to that button to send you a code...
