Macro to display all input messages

    Hi,

I have a workbook sheet in Excel with more than 50 input messages. The problem, is that I need to keep all these messages displayed. Does anyone know how to do a macro which makes possible run the sheet displaying all these messages, and the reverse (a macro to hide all the messages)?

IŽll appreciate any effort that could be done!!!

    Thanks!

Do you mean all input messages will appear at the same time and stay there until you press something to hide it? it will be much easy if you attach a sample workbook reflecting the output.

    Hi, brunoricardo,

    Why?

And havng 50 InputBoxes sounds like a re-think of the project model to me.

Yes, is exactly what I meant. Can you explain better your solution when you say "to attach a workbook reflecting the output"?
    Thanks in advance!

Re: Macro to display all input messages

Basically I did the document with input messages, instead of comments. But now, the person who ordered me this decided that the document must be able to display and hide the messages (which could be much more simple if I had developed comments since the beginning).

Re: Macro to display all input messages

The file attached is a sample of what I need. Basically, I want to put all the input messages displayed. What happens now is that I only can display one input message, to display another one I need to go to the cell and click there, being the previous closed.

    Hi, brunoricardo,

sorry but although I use Excel2013 that version canŽt convert a picture to a workbook.

From what it seems your inputboxes are comments, you can activate the view of all via Review/Comments where you can toggle the view. Or right click any of the cells holding a comment and choose the appropriate view.

    Ciao,
    Holger

    Hi HaHoBe,

Actually the messages are not comments. In the excel file attached you can see how these messages were inserted. Thanks in advance!

Re: Macro to display all input messages

    Hi, brunoricardo,

no chance of displaying more than one note as they are created with Data/Validation which will only be affected by the active cell in the sheet.

    Ciao,
    Holger
