Data Validation - Drop Down Menu/Box

I'm using data validation that is pulling a list from another worksheet. The validation parameters are set
For 100 rows of information. However, I may not always have data in all 100 rows. I'm curious if there was a way to keep my data validation drop down list from containing those blank spots. I tried to ignore blank cells but that isn't doing the trick. I'm wondering if there might be a more clever way of doing the drop down menu.

    Thank you,

    Tim

Try using a dynamic named range. See this how to from Microsoft:

That didn't do the trick. I don't know if I'm not reading that correctly or if this solution you suggested applies at all. I'll attach an example of what I've got. Notice all the blank space in my drop-down box. I'd like it to list the names only, even though I'm not using all of the cells that I have chosen to validate. I just need the drop down box to ignore the blanks ones.

I got it figured out. The site you gave kind of half way explained it to me. I didn't realize until reading another site what you had to do after creating the dynamic range. So, in the end, your post still helped It pointed me in the right direction.

    Thanks!
