Comparing Long List Of Items against Each Other

    Hello,

I am looking for some advice on how to best go about doing this. I have a Great Plains dashboard which audits tables in our accounting system. I was able to obtain help using .autofilter to be able to filter out specific transactions within a long list of transactions. This saved me from using about 7 SQL queries in my spreadsheet. However, I now need to compare within those transactions all Entered transactions and all posted transactions. The Audit report is supposed to Identify who entered and then who posted the transaction.

As you will see in the spreadsheet, "All Transactions" is the list of all transactions and what I need to do is compare:

    1. Sales Work File "Userid" with Cash Receipts work file "Userid" and ensure that the same person did not enter the transaction and also post it. The Userid should never be the same in both.

    2. PM10000 "Userid" with Pm Transaction Open "UserId" and ensure that the same person did not enter the transaction and also post it. The Userid should never be the same in both.

Should I create 2 more SQL queries within the spreadsheet? Or is this better handled by only having that single query to SQl and Programmatically doing this in excel? If I can do this in excel, would you know how to do this?
