unable to add data into active cell through macro

meg intranet macro-editedcc.xlsmHey guys,
so below is a vb prog. i have made to insert a merged cell with a comment on it. But i am unable to work with the range, so that i can relate the time entered with the length of the comment added.
I was also unable to make the merged cell appear on the cell i place the cursor on before running the macro.
Plz help... very urgent....

You can not work with merged range. If you are trying to loop through a merged range, or copy, you are more likely to get an error.

ya i know but i have to work with the merged cells unfortunately.
Can you help me place the merged cell spitted from the macro to be placed on a cell which i clicked before running the macro??
