    Moving shapes to different worksheet

    Hello,

I've created several shapes, assigned a macro to each one and grouped them together. This group is intended to serve as a navigation bar: when a user clicks one of the shapes they are taken to a corresponding worksheet. My workbook will eventually have 20-30 worksheets, so rather than creating a separate navigation bar (i.e. new set of shapes) on each worksheet, I thought it would be better to create one navigation bar and move it from worksheet to worksheet as the user clicks around.

I cannot figure out how to change the location of the navigation bar to a different worksheet. It's imperative that the navigation bar retain all functionality (i.e. can run the macros associated with each shape) regardless of what worksheet it's currently on.

If you have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate them, including other ideas for how to implement the navigation bar concept.

    Thanks!

Re: Moving shapes to different worksheet

I've attached a file with three worksheets:
    • "Objects" contains the buttons I've created to serve as a menu bar
    • "Destination Sheet 1" and "Destination Sheet 2" are blank worksheets that I would like to move the menu bar to.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Re: Moving shapes to different worksheet

Thank you. That does accomplish what I set out to do, though I suspect I'll eventually need more specifics on how to specify the location of objects on the new sheet. If needed, I'll start a new thread for that.
