No matter what I try, each time I submit a web query the formatting is somehow auto-tuned by Excel. Why won't excel just leave the formatting alone?

Here's my web query sub (very handy):

Just a for instance....

Where I should be getting:
25 / 22
48 / 46
2 / 2
2 / 2
3 / 3

I'm instead getting:
25 / 22
48 / 46
2-Feb
2-Feb
3-Mar

There are many other examples but this date one is BY FAR the most annoying since there seems to be no work around and no way to turn it back into the original stuff afterward.

These emoticons are - dare I say - cute....

This seems to be a known issue and there is a similar problem with pivot tables, which I don't use in my work so can't really comment on. A few years ago someone said vaguely that "enable selection" was the key. See here: http://www.excelforum.com/excel-char...ructed-to.html

Thanks in advance for any advice or help,
Jacob
