Linking Powerpoint to a Query made in EXCEL

    Hi Everyone,

So I am new to this forum, and I'm proficient in VBA and Excel (still trying to figure SQL stuff out). I have a macro that runs my query that autoupdates from my dBase every morning so I have the most up to date data when I come into work. This query returns hyperlinks to jpeg images of my process errors in a control chart. What I am trying to do is link a Powerpoint presentation to my Excel file with my query and hyperlinks so my Powerpoint will auto update the same jpeg files on a day to day basis. Does anyone know if this is possible? This will cut out a lot of my time during the week of re-editing the hyperlinks on each individual slide of my Powerpoint presentation. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Why not write VBA in PowerPoint to query the database, get the URLS for the images and update the presentation as required?

I need the excel file as a "middle man" for other things, but I suppose I can do that for the time being. Would be more convienent if I just had one code for everything haha

Can't you make it 2 seperate processes?

One for PowerPoint and one for Excel.

That's probably better than having 3 applications involved.
