    Disabling "Prompt Before Close" buttons.

    Hi,

It's possible to create a Macro to disable the button SAVE from the prompt upon exit and keep the others (DON'T SAVE and CANCEL)?

    Hi rodrigotomaz

Not sure what you're after...place this Code in ThisWorkbook Module and you won't get the offending message

Re: Disabling "Prompt Before Close" buttons.

I jaslake. Thank you for the help.
In effect I must preserve the save prompt, but disabling the SAVE button.

Let me explain: We use the Autonomy Worksite as DMS. The OPEN and SAVE AS dialogs are integrated with Worksite and doesn't allow the users to save documents locally. When a user create a Office document and save it, he only can save in Worksite and not local.
But there are a breach. If the user have a local document, he can change the content and replace it, just clicking in the "X" button and choosing SAVE in dialog.
I already try the code that you provided, but if a user are working on a DMS document and acidentally click on "X" the workbook will close and all the progress will be lost.

So, we need to maintain the dialog, but disabling the SAVE button, and so, prevent users to save documents locally (or replace existing documents).
