Open a file from a vba (a userform)

Hello every one
I was wondering is it possible to open a pdf file and a video file from clicking on a button existant in a userform vba excel?
actually I inserted the file in a sheet excel but then I didn't know what to do
(it was a silly attempt after all I guess)
otherwise I am sure that there is an other way that you guys are used to use.
