Record a macro next time you do the Ctrl F and then dissect that code produced, you'll find its easier than you think.

    Re: Search Button

If you just want a button with no code attached to it, just go to developer and choose form, but what is the point of a button with out a code? You write a code and attach a button to it and run it when ever you want.

I have the same problem. I put an attachement. please put the macro so I can understand.

I have a table with the datas and I want to create a search button instead the CTRL+F. I put the "data" I want to search (ex. AA) and he select the cell. like CTRL+F.

    Thanks for your Time.

    RYk,
Unfortunately, your request does not comply with form's rule. You need to start your own thread.
When you post your thread, you need to have a proper heading which reflects your question. You would also get a speed reply if you could attach your desired result.
On the attached for example, you have data in sheet1, but we do not know what and where to search. And when search is found which columns/row you want return? Is it a single cell, or many?
