    I need to add "Page of Pages" to an EXCEL 2010 Spreadsheet.

    I have a spread sheet that averages 40 pages. At any time a page may be added or deleted. I need the page number and number of pages to be added to each page without using Header and Footer. I have accomplished this using formulas but it is extremely slow. Is there a VB solution to my problem?

    Can you be more specific about a "page"? Is it a an entire worksheet or an actual page that would be printed when the worksheet is printed or something else?

    The worksheet is divided into an equal number of pages of the same size. The whole worksheet is printed once a month.

    How is a page added or deleted?

    Is the page added or deleted always the final page/s, or are they anywhere within the worksheet?

    So you have a single worksheet that is printed monthly divided into pages. Are the page breaks automatic or manual, or both?

    The pages that are removed can be from anywhere in the spreadsheet. Could be from the end or in the middle. Also, the page breaks are set automatically for the same size pages.

    How about a simple formula in each page number cell that references the cell N rows up?
