Run Powerpoint Presentation From Excel And Then Return To Sheet

    Hi all,

Have been using this forum for a long time to search for help with Macros but I have a problem that I have tried searching for but can't find an answer for.

I would like to create a macro to run a powerpoint presentation if a certain trigger is activated in the sheet. I have already written the trigger and can insert the presentation as an object but I can't work out the code (presuming it is possible) to then run the presentation (it is animated), leave it open for x seconds and then return to the original sheet.

So I would like to step by step:

Trigger the event (this step is done simply using an If code)
    - Open the powerpoint presentation and run the animation
    - Leave on screen for 10 seconds
    - Close the presentation and return to my sheet

Thanks for any help in advance.

    Chris
