Populate an Excel calendar template with events from a separate table

I recently downloaded an Excel calendar template that shows one moth or one week at a time, and is linked to a second tab with assignments and dates the assignments are due. What I would like to do is:

    1. Rather than have the words "Assignment Due!" appear on the specific date, I would rather have the actual event post. These events are tasks, and the calendar format is preferred for viewing.

    2. There is also the likelihood that multiple tasks will be due on any given day. Is there a way to display all of the tasks on their due date?

I have tried using variations of the code included with the template and VLOOKUP without success. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Dana

Best to post the Vlookup formulas so we can check for obvoius issues.

In general though you may want to look at a different kind of solution that does not involve formulas (and the issues that came with formulas). Here are 2 alternatives:
    1) Import the data to Outlook (use CSV import)

    2) Use an App to convert Excel data to Calendars in Excel. Here is such an app: http://www.wincalendar.com/Create-a-...rom-Excel-Data

Re: Populate an Excel calendar template with events from a separate table

Hello I am new to this forum and I have seen a few calendars here. This is what I have come up with.
Oct Events is the input page (you can change the sheet name) Nov Events does not work (you can delete it)
the calendar 2 sheet was an example from who built the original.
The calendar collects data from columns 2,3,4
you can name them whatever you like.
    Hope this helps
