Clicking on one cell in tab 2 to be redirected to a specific cell in tab 1

    Hello,

    I have a worksheet with 2 tabs.

In my second tab, there is a formula I wrote in each cell (G1 to G500) in order to get a result in that cell that corresponds to a specific line in tab 1.

I would like to be able to click on the cell in tab 2 and be directed to the line that it corresponds to in tab 1.

If this helps...in tab 2, I have a cell (A1 to A500) on the same line as my cell with the formula that indicates the job number that can also be found in tab 1.

If I am not clear, please let me know, I will gladly explain in a little more detail!

    Thank you,

    Re: First post/question

I tried to use a hyperlink, but this will only take me to the other tab. I need it to not only take me to the other tab, but also to put me at the specific line (or cell).

Is anyone able to shed some light on this and help me?

    Cheers

    Re: First post/question

You should be able to use a hyperlink...

Select "Insert Hyperlink" --- In the pop-up window chose "Place in this Document" (on the left, under "Link To:")

Enter the sheet name and the cell --- EX. Sheet2!D15

    I attached an example.

    Hope it helps,

    pmizzel!

Thank you, that makes a little more sense. Is there a command I can put in so that the cells in tab1, that it takes me to, are in reference to the job number found in tab2?

    Thank you so much!
