extracting data from 1500 excel files into one file

Hi guys,

I have the following task on hand:

- i need to extract data from 1500 files into 1 file
- I need specific data from sheet 1 (titled SSX) of each of these 1500 files
- This data is on one row, usually located somewhere on row numbers 5 - 12 ; the data includes 3 columns in one of the aforementioned rows; So i would require the macro to select a range of data to extract the information i need.
- the 1500 files are included in a folder which has sub-folders that further have more sub-folders in them. So about 3 layers of folders with 1500 files all over the place. I need the macro to go through all the folders/sub-folders.

Anyone interested in offering a solution ?
