A Question - Intergrate Excel VBA/Macro to a website for multiple users?

    Hi all

    Just a quick question.

I have just been provided a task and was wondering if a s/spheet with VBA/macro's can be set up to work on a website and used by multiple users (approx 1000+). The s/sheet is not to complex and you complete the inputs on a cover sheet.

I was hoping the website could use the same "front end" and produce an excel s/sheet with all the calculations and outputs.

The main reason for this is to ensure the main calculations behind the scene are always up to date and historic excel files previously downloaded are not being used.

    Thanks in advance

Have a look at shared workbooks in Excel 2013 or Google docs, you can't do this in any other versions I'm afraid

    thanks.

I'm surprised by that. Its for an internal business and we dont have Excel 2013.

It there a way of transfering the code to HMTL.

I might sound like an IT novice but just thinking of ideas.

No, not easily, depending on what you need to do, you might get away with doing the whole workbook in javascript, it is unlikely however and more probable that you'd need to also use a server side language also - PHP, Python, Ruby, Vb.Net, C# etc... It might be better asking some questions on a freelance developer site and see if you can get an idea as to how much it would cost for someone to create the web application for you - unless you have the skill set in house or want to learn

Honestly, I suspect google docs would be the easiest
