Exclamation locking cells when populated along with a change event

    Hi ,
I have one change event in sheet1 as follows

I also want to incorporate another change aspect in this so that any cells C2:F2000 and cells I2:I2000, L2:L2000 when populated are locked even if the sheet is unprotected.
    Is it possible?
I understand that there can only be one change event per sheet...

    Many thanks
    Kind regards

It can all be incorporated into a single sub:

Re: locking cells when populated along with a change event

    Bit more clarity.
Column 16 ... when populated deletes row from sheet1 and pastes it in sheet2.

At the same time if any fresh entry is made in columns C:F I want cells to be locked when populated.

Column I and L are with a formula to populate status and a date which depends upon input in column H ( which is independent of everything really)

So the core issue is we are aiming to incorporate locking of cells in C:F when populated ( change scenario) with another one when column 16 is populated.
    Hope this may help.
    Regards
