How to make excel file faster which uses option buttons?

Hi,

I want to create a questionnaire which is around 250 questions.

For each question the person filling in the questionnaire will have 5 options and he will have to choose one.

The issue with the excel file created is that it takes way too long to open and close and it is not suitable to send it to the people that will fill it in.

The 5 options that were used for each question were ActiveX option buttons and I grouped them (through properties-> Group) for each question so that the people filling in the questions cannot select two answers for one question.

I do not think option buttons will make any difference in speed, it is rather your data type and volume which affects speed.

This is the questionnaire excel file that I have created that takes too long.

I had to zip the file in order to add it as the upload management tool said it was too big. (2.5 mb before zipping)

I don't understand how can I only have only 5 option buttons as AndyLitch posted above and only change the questions.

If you can please provide me an example or more information.
