Macro to stop workbook being saved

I want to know if it is possible for a macro to stop a workbook being saved when a user filters the information by either highest to lowest or lowest to highest.
User must be able to filter info on sheet via catogories
It just stuffs up all the data when a user sorts from high to low or vice versa
    Thanks

You might want to consider disabling the sort function on the menu and then allow the sorting only by executing a macro.

Look at this link for disabling menu functions

Thank you for your reply, Unfortunately i still need the worksheets to be able to be sorted as some people need to filter the info this way.
I just need to be able to stop them from saving the workbook one they have sorted from high to low or vice versa
