    Storing macros

Hi All, I need your expert help again please.
I created a scoring system with macros (recorded) to open the pages where I enter the scores and also a page to record the final total scores listed in order and it works great on my PC.
However I tried it on a laptop using a USB key and while the pages opened OK, when I clicked to open the Final Scoreboard button it showed an error which I can't recall as it wasn't my own laptop. The pages macros then produced the same fault.
While I was creating the workbook I was examining (trying to learn) modules etc. and I recall seeing a choice of locations or something regarding normal.dot. and this workbook. I cannot recall how I got to that info. Could I have stored a macro in the wrong place.
When I open the VBA project pane on my PC all the pages and macros look like they are stored in "this workbook".
How can I check if all the macros are stored "this workbook" which I presume carries the macros with it or in another workbook.

    Rgds J

    Re: Storing macros

With excel open if you press ALT+F11 you'll open the visual basic editor. Your code modules (one for each sheet and workbook open) will be displayed inside the yellow box on the attached picture. If you double click any of these the code will be displayed in your viewing pane.

If you have recorded and macros with the recorder (or copy and pasted code into new modules) Modules will be listed below this list.Attachment 247056
