Ability to specify whether data was entered in via userform?

Ok, so I have an 'expense book', where a bookkeeper records the expenses happening through the day. Recently, I changed the book so that data was entered via a userform, rather than directly into the workbook.

I informed the bookkeepers that if they have any problem with entering something through the userform, they can still enter it the old way. What I would like is a cell to be filled yellow if it is entered in directly rather than through the userform. Is something like this possible?

    Hi mthmchris,

    Welcome to the forum!!

What about if you shade the relevant cells yellow to start with and as part of code you already must have to populate the tab via the userform, include another piece of code that unshades the cell.

Besides that I'm not sure of any other way.

    Regards,

    Robert

Something like that could definitely work, thanks! Seems so obvious in retrospect.
