Fill cell in column only if blank.

I am trying to add an IF statement around this code to say "do the below action" if the cell in I column in null/blank. If the cell in col I is not blank then leave alone and move on to the next cell and only carry out the below code if the cell in col I is blank.

I tried this but it did not work. it still altered the non-blank cells also.

I've just double checked and it works for me. It might help if you upload your workbook with the code you are using included.

Note, this also depends on your definition of a blank cell. If it has a formula that returns blank (or even 0) this will not be counted by vba as being blank. Without seeing the data it is hard to know for sure but maybe something like:
