Not duplicating data once transfered to another sheet

Good Morning all hope everyone enjoys the weekend coming up. I have a question maybe someone could help me with. I have a sheet built that when column P on Sheet one changes I hit a transfer button and it transfers it over to a diffrent sheet in the workbook called "LOG". Now it all works nice but I hit the transfer button a couple times a day and it will always transfer everything in column P that it is supposed to but it keeps duplicating the ones that have already been transfered. I would like it to transfer it once and then skip it. Now column P changes daily for the most part. It tells me when everything is "RUNNING" or if it is "DOWN". We have it set so that when it says "DOWN" it transfers. Also to note is once it goes to the "DOWN" I have a timestamp assigned . Once "DOWN" it tells us what date and time it went "DOWN" Once the machine is "RUNNING again the timestamp will disapear and everythings good. It changes once in awile and I would only like to log the "DOWN"times. Should a guy get it to look at the date in column Q and if it has changed then transfer but if the date is the same or the cell is blank then do not transfer. Any ideas would be great. Thanks for any help and if this is not expained well enough let me know and I can try again.

If it were me, I'd add another column and set a flag in that when the data has been transferred. Then, when you have additions or changes, you can check the "transferred flag" and only transfer those that haven't already gone across ... and, of course, set the flag.
