    Error 429: ActiveX component can't create object

    I have a button 'update assigned to this macro where i am bringing values in and pasting them into an access database.

    The error is telling you that Microsoft Access is not installed on your computer.

    Check ssspelling?

    Set d = CreateObject("accesss.application")
    Surround your VBA code with CODE tags e.g.;
    [CODE]your VBA code here[/CODE]
    The # button in the forum editor will apply CODE tags around your selected text.

    error 438 on last line: object doesn't support this property or method
