Aggregating data

I'm learning excel and VBa on my own and I have aproject I need help with.

On one sheet, there is a bunch of data that is split up into ranges based on a parameter ("0-0" "1-100" "101-250" "251-500" "501-750" "751-1000") and I need to aggregate this data into smaller ranges ("0-0" "1-500" "501-1000").

For each of these ranges in the first set, there are 3 rows, and the ranges repeat based on two other parameters. I had been trying to do it with a pivot table, by selecting the parameters I need, and the all the first ranges that make up the second range, but this is quite tedious, as there is over 9000 rows in the first sheet, and the pivot table only lets me do this three rows at a time.

Can some one help me think of a VBA macro that would speed up this process, or perhaps a formula? I'm kinda stuck.
