    Userform to show date format in textbox or label

    I have a Userform that is used by employees to select phone shifts on certain days.
    There are 3 shifts per day.
    I place the dates for each month on the form and each person selects which shift for the day.
    Could someone please tell me how I might format the Date box (which is currently a label, but have no problem changing it);
    so that i can just type eg: 18/7/13 and have the box show - 'Thursday, 18 July, 2013'.
    The reason is that I change the dates each month and I would like a simple way to do it instead of having to write each date by long hand.
    Thank-you for any help you can give.

    Re: Userform to show date format in textbox or label

    I have tried the second option offered by jaslake. I neglected to ask in my original post -
    How do I make the dates I enter stay in the text boxes until I overwrite them the next month.
    When I close the Userform and go back in, the dates I entered have gone.

    The Else in the code I posted is optional.

    You need to save the date somwhere, easiest would be to store it in a cell on a worksheet.
