Consolidate from column to row on criteria

    Good afternoon,

I'm needing to consolidate data from columns to rows based on specific criteria - sample data provided. I've tried a number of formula combinations and got no where. Perhaps some VBA is in order but I have no experience with VBA.

    Appreciate any help/guidance...

One way would be to use the Mlookup UDF in the attached and concatenate it with a Vlookup for the "C" or "Q" portion.

    Alan,

I can't get the zip file to unzip ('unpack' in Windows 8 terminology). I have Win8 on my computer - could that be preventing the unzip?

Don't know anything about Win8 and if that is an issue. Here is the file unzipped.

Open my spreadsheet. Click on Alt + F11. This opens the Visual Basic Editor. Copy the code you find for the function Mlookup and paste into your spreadsheet VBE. Close and save the VBE. Save your spreadsheet. Now in your F(x) formula bar, you should find a section called UDF (User Defined Functions). You should find your new Mlookup function there. Look at my spreadsheet on the instructions on how to fill in the data to present a multi lookup

    good luck
