Macro to Change color of cell after cross referencing date with a given date.

I am trying to write a macro that will change the color of all the data cells until a certain date. I have a reference cell H5 that has the invoiced date. I have row 2 which has dates alternating. So Column 2 looks like this.... June 2/2013, Adjustment, June 3/2013, Adjustment etc... So when a date is placed in invoiced date, I want it to color all the invoices and adjustments until that date.

Why use a macro for this? You can probably do it with conditional formatting.
