Importing Data into excel from website - where tech navigates site and then imports data

I am writing an excel spread sheet that opens an internal website. The user navigates the site and then imports the data into the spreadsheet, processes the data and processes and calculates a result where the user puts the data into another website. I have opening the website for the user to navigate through down put the part I cant figure out is how to trigger the input after they have navigated. If I manually navigate I can manually import through excel and after that i am good. I just need a button that gets excel to import when I am done navigating the page. The user will have multiple other webpagesopen at the same time.
