    Highlight empty Combobox

    Hello,

I have a question that I'm sure can be solved if simple coding or an "if statement" can be employed, I'm not sure. I am new to the VBA functions in Excel. I am using Excel 2010 and I'll describe the situation below.

I have an Active X Control Combo Box that is a very simple drop down list. Example "A, B, C". What I would like to have is when the combo box is empty or nothing is selected, the combo box would be highlighted (the back color). Once a selection is made from the drop down list, the highlight/color would then be removed and go back to the default white, this is such that it draws attention to the user when filling out the form so they do not forget to fill in every field. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
