That symbol is not in the ascii table. The (8804) allows it to be embedded in html documents. (I think.)

The Unicode character for Less Than Or Equal To is code 2264 (Hexidecimal). This will render correctly on an Excel worksheet but not in the VB Editor. VBA converts Unicode to ANSI (single byte characters).

My point was that VBA supports Unicode strings. It's just the VBE that doesn't render them.
