how can I make a button that manipulate table in two ways?

    hello ,

I've added excel file explaining it easily . basically trying to build a button to sort dates in one column, and then number all rows by order. constraint - if you relocate table+button the button'll still work, but if that isn't possible It's still gonna be awesome and bery useful also,

I'll attach this button to 100's tables - will do this proccess 5-30 times a day, everyday ,it'll be so much nicer to just click a button instead of sorting, and give numbers to all rows - and mistakes rate are high.

thanks for sharing skillful tools !!!

If all you want is row number in first column, regardless of it's original position, so fifth row is always labelled 5 then just use a formula.

    =ROW([@DATE])-ROW(טבלה534[[#Headers],[DATE]])

you will need to change the table name reference,
    Cheers
