    copy selected data into column A cells if column B contains text

    SEE THE ATTACHED FILE
    I need to use a MACRO that will find a cell in column A that contains data and then copy that data to the cells below until it encounters a blank cell in column B. Then it must locate the next cell in column A and repeat the process to the bottom of the file in the same manner.



    The file that I have attached is a simplified version of the actual file. All pertinent data is shown. The actual file is recreated each month, adding additional data. The data to be copied in the rows beneath it will not actually start in A4, or A12. The number of rows per date changes all of the time, ther is nothing standard there. The actual file at this time contains over three thousand rows of data and it grows every month.

    So you want the Nominal Date copied to each cell that contains a name?
