    VBA Question

I am new to writing VBA code. I have a spreadsheet which has multile work sheets. What I would like to acheive is to have a criteria run on a spreadsheet which is activite. Once the unique Criteria is selected, I would like to create a new worksheet with a name of the active on I am in and copy all the data with unique values. Is this possible or am I out of luck?
