    macro to move all files from one folder to another files

    Hai my dear excell experts/friends

    I have one macro to move all files from one folder to another files but here the files will remain in the first foldler
    what i want is once they are moved to the second one ,the first one'sfiles should be deleted it is like cut and paste and not copy and paste

    You would use the MOVE command rather than the XCOPY command:

    Im confused. How does your thread title have any bearing on what you want to do with moving/deleting files? Perhaps a thread title change is in order?
