VBA for asset calculation

Hello,
I was wondering if someone could help me put together this macro, please?

I have attached a workbook. I need the macro to spit out a TOTAL number only for IT id's for CASH (category). In this instance, the total number would be 11. This macro needs to filter first the ID's, then CATEGORY, and add up totals.

Does anyone have any idea how to write a macro like this? Thank you so much!

Thank you for your help. This macro filters, but what about subtotaling the totals? I could record the macro, but the issue is this - what happens if in one month there are 4 totals in column C for "it" and "cash" and the next there are 5. How do you write a macro to accurately read this? THANK YOU!
