Code in the macro dissapears if in close and open my excel

Hi,

i am workin on excel-07 and in the macros i have somecode which basically goes to a sqlserver table and brings the data from a column.It runs fine.But if save everything and close the excel file and open it i dont see any code in the macro?

Can someone please help me where i am doing wrong?

Are you saving it as an xlsm file?
