Removing blank cells from csv

I have a large set of .csv files distributed across many subfolders of a folder... the root folder does not have .csv in it, just the subfolders have csv files.
In some of the .csv, there are certain cells which are blank, but these blank cells show up when I view the file in openoffice, here is an example.

Generally, each csv has only a few columns of data. For example..you can see cells A5:A9 dont seem to have content, but show up in the file as blank cells. This file only has one columns of data. I am looking for a macro which will go through and remove all these blaNk cells in all the subfolders of the main folder.

explain better please, what do you mean for show up ? Your file is a normal text file with some Carriage Retutn at the end.

If you launch openoffice first..(Im using version 3.4.1), then select spreadsheet.. then do a file open and open example.csv, you will see a PREVIEW window that shows cells A5:A9, even though there is nothing obvious in those cells. I do not want those cells showing up at the preview stage, if those cells or (rows) are deleted in the csv and resaved, you will see that when open it again, they will not show up in the preview. Hope that helps..

[SOLVED] i believe this is ok as far as I can tell..
I saw a few issues, but I think it was related to the data set itself and not an issue with the macro
I have not had time to check thoroughly on this aspect..
