Macro to Auto-Insert Customized Chart Template

Hi,

Could someone please provide guidance on the following. I would like to create a macro that essentially chooses Insert > Charts > Templates > and chooses a certain template > OK and insert the chart on the same sheet.

I want this to be relative so that it will automatically run based on whatever cells I have selected.

the first part i believe you can manage by yourself and the MS excel feature - record macro. Regarding the second part (relative selection etc.), there are ways of getting that done, but uŽd need to provide more info about your file, i mean the structure of the data (if they are with or without empty columns / rows) etc. cause it can be done easier or harder way as everything and it would be waste of time to pull out impenetrable code just to realize you had quite consistent and simple datasheet

also, if you wanna run the macro semi / fully automatic, you need to put the recorded macro in the specific sheet and choose between change or selectionchange -- in this cause you wouldnt need to triger the macro by pushing the button or whatever it will be just enough to select what you desire to format and macro should run

PS -- the recorded macro will require a bit of tinkering due to the absolute values (u might wanna use the relative recording but...to give more specific answers IŽd need more specific info - or a simple sample)...
