How do I insert a value in each cell of a selected range using macro?

Hi guys,

I have been having trouble with this for the last few days. When I have a range of cells selected and when I run a macro, I want zero to be inserted in, if the value is 25 and 25 inserted if the value is 0.

I want the value inserted in all the cells selected. It varies and is not a definite row or column.
