    Two types of help

    Hello,

New to the boards and thought I'd seek some help from the experts. I'm trying to get a line chart axis to format based on a cell value. I have 50 different names in a macro drop down that pulls in the data corresponding to the name. I then have a chart that changes based on the name and data. Some of the names/data auto format fine but some do not and you cannot clearly see the plotted lines. Someone told me I need a VBA code to set up the chart to format to a cell value (I'll just do a min/max for the cell values).

Can someone please tell me the code to enter into VBA?

Second request- I have no idea how to use VBA. I need step by step instructions to open VBA paste in the code and save or run to get it to work? I literally have no idea where to start or how to get this set up. Please help if you can.

    Thanks for the help.

From your description, it might be that your requirements might be largely satisfied by using a pivot chart.
